IAHV in British 10k London Run 2013!

Register now for the British 10K fun fundraising day… Sunday 14th July 2013. IAHV UK is fielding another team of 108 runners (joggers and walkers) in the British 10K sponsored event in central London. It’s a great fun event and a wonderful way to raise funds for IAHV's good causes.

Since its inception in 1992, Prison SMART has become a worldwide successful program. More than 250.000 people in around 30 countries have already experienced its positive effects.

The program serves the needs of all people involved, incarcerated or working in the criminal justice system: incarcerated adults, juveniles, and their families; ex-prisoners; victims of violence; correctional officers and law enforcement personnel and administrators.

Haiti Disaster Relief

IAHV Uk responded proactively to a call for urgent further sponsorship for the excellent Nouvelle Vie training, post disaster rehabilitation, and community empowerment initiative run by IAHV in Haiti. £3000 was raised by the GUERNSEY group and transferred to Haiti in September.

Assam Refugee Relief Project

IAHV distribution point Assam August 12 IAHV UK supporters collaborated to raise emergency funds for the IAHV crisis initiative in India to provide aid to the refugees from the political and ethnic riots which displaced over 400,000 men, women and children in 5 areas since July 2012.

You can now De-Stress in Rainham starting 22 January. Aimed at people affected by Stress, Worry, Anxiety or Depression, Manage Your Mind – Manage Your Life is a new programme of weekly workshops, which provides an opportunity to learn new skills and develop a more positive perspective on life.

Gift a Smile

Gift a Smile provides free, holistic, value based education to underprivileged children in India and elsewhere.

Siri In India many children don't have the opportunity to go to school. Often people from remote, rural areas cannot read or write, as their families were unable to afford to send them to school, or there were no schools within traveling distance.
