British 10k 2010: Choose you own Project

International Association for Human Values (IAHV) operates across the globe to foster and encourage human values and inner peace as well as material relief to those in need.

For taking part in the 2010 British 10k London Run, we are encouraging you to decide where you think your collection should go:

Here are are just a couple of projects we are currently involved with:

1) Project Welcome Home Troops: IAHV is providing a stress-management program for war veterans and their families to restore well-being by dissolving stress, tension and negative emotions.More info

2) Sri Lankan Tamil Refugee Support: More than 3600 Sri Lankan tamil refugees (due to the ongoing clashes between LTTE and Sri Lankan government) have camped in Mandapam, Tamil Nadu. IAHV has inititiated a relief program to provide food, clothing and medical care. IAHV has also started providing trauma relief courses to the refugees.

3) Trauma Relief in Israel/Palestine: IAHV UK has sponsored an Art of Living initiative to conduct it's world renowned trauma and stress relief programmes to help improve the lives of hundred of Pastinian children and youth.

The response to the programmes were extremely positive and has given hope to the lives of innocent children to whom war and bloodshed are an everyday reality. Click here to read the full report
